Playing Time Management Games

Some of the most popular games in the market today are time management games. They may sound boring, but the truth is these games are fun-filled and entertaining. Time management games are action-based games that require players to think and act quickly and strategically. In time management games, each episode has a time limit and the player must perform and complete a series of tasks in order to reach a goal before the time is up.

The most popular and the pioneer of these time management games is the “Diner Dash” game series. In this game, the player takes the role of Flo, a restaurant owner. The objective of the game is to build the restaurant. Everyday Flo must meet a profit goal and to do this she must take orders from different customers, serve them, clean tables, and basically satisfy customer with her timely service.

As the restaurant grows bigger, Flo must serve more and more customers so she should be able to manage her time well because not all customers are the same. Some are less patient than others and would easily leave if the service is slow.

The “Diner Dash” game started a host of time management games that have the same key elements only different themes. Some of the most recent time management games include “Turbo Pizza”, “Daycare Nightmare”, “Burger Island”, “Nanny Mania” and “Miss Management”, among many others.

In “Burger Island” the player must successfully manage a burger stand by preparing customers' orders - burgers, milkshakes and fries- swiftly and without mistakes. In “Miss Management”, the player is an office manager who must direct the actions of her co-workers in order to accomplish daily tasks while keeping employees happy.

Time management games are not only great for entertainment but they can also help develop strategic planning in a person with respect to time. In addition, players can gain appreciation of the importance of time management in achieving goals. However, as a word of caution, time management games are very addicting so, ironically, they are potentially great time wasters. Play them when you have nothing else better to do.

You can find plenty of time management games from the games section of search engines like Yahoo! or MSN. Try out the games for free by downloading a one-hour trial version.
If you like a particular game, you would need to purchase the full version. The average price of time management games is about $19.

Aside from downloading trial games, you can read reviews from games who already purchased the full version to find out from them whether the games will be worth your money.
